MEMSIS has successfully realized the production and commercialization of Türkiye’s first reinforced fiber membranes.
We design, project and install in accordance with the capacity you need, inlet concentrations and recovery limits. The design of GENMBR® membrane bioreactor modules belongs to MEMSIS. In addition, we manufacture our reinforced hollow fiber membranes with antifouling properties, which are used in modules, in the Tuzla facilities of MEMSIS.

WHY GENMBR®?
Low Investment Cost
We produce GENMBR® membrane bioreactor modules. Therefore, the production cost is low and it provides a great advantage in the competitive market.
5X Stronger Membranes
GENMBR® modules are reinforced with a special support layer, PET layer. It is 5 times stronger against mechanical factors than other hollow fiber membranes. Therefore, it does not carry the risk of rupture.
Wastewater Recovery
With the high treatment efficiencies in the GENMBR® system, we recycle the effluent as irrigation, washing and process water. Therefore, we reduce your water cost, which is one of the operating costs of your facility. Our GENMBR® system can pay for itself in a short period of up to 6 months due to wastewater recovery.
High Aeration with 3-Point Air Scouring
Due to the design of GENMBR® modules, ventilation is applied from 3 different points. In this way, the air scouring effect on the membranes becomes much more efficient. It eliminates the clogging factor and also delays the chemical washing period of the membranes. It reduces the cost of consumables to minimum levels.

Minimum Energy Requirement with Low Pressure
Because GENMBR® systems are operated at low pressure, the required pump energy is significantly reduced. In addition, the low pressure on the membrane reduces wear and prolongs the life of the membrane.
High Treatment Efficiency
In GENMBR® systems, a fully efficient treatment is provided with removal efficiencies between 90% and 99%. It eliminates all the problems in the discharge standards related to your sector. It also provides recycling of wastewater as washing, irrigation or process water.
Antifouling
The locally produced membranes used in GENMBR® membrane bioreactor modules are antifouling.
Efficient Use of Space
The GENMBR® system is designed in a hexagonal shape. Due to the design, you can place 20% more membrane area in the same reactor than other MBR modules. Since the packaging rate is very high, it uses the tank area extremely efficiently.
Chemical Resistance
PVDF polymer with high chemical resistance is used in GENMBR® membranes. Therefore, the resistance of the membranes to wastewater that poses a problem with chemical properties such as pH and conductivity is very high. In addition, it does not wear out against chemical factors.

Effective Sludge Management
Since GENMBR® systems are operated at high sludge retention, it reduces the amount of sludge formed by half. Therefore, sludge management costs are reduced. In addition, since the sludge formed is stabilized in the membrane pool, it eliminates the odor problem. Since the sludge is already stabilized in the GENMBR® system, it reduces the polymer dosage required in sludge conditioning before the decanter. Our system provides undeniable advantages not only for biological treatment, but also for your entire treatment plant.
Automatic control
All components of GENMBR® systems are connected to the automation system. You can monitor the status of the system at any time, whether from the side of the system or from a distance of kilometers, and make the necessary interventions.
With the GENMBR® system, you can operate the treatment plant in tank volumes of conventional system sizes, at 3 times higher capacity. With this advantage of the GENMBR® system, we offer our customers the most suitable solution for facilities that want to increase capacity.
