İSKİ AĞVA Wastewater Treatment Plant – 8000 m3/day
A revision was made in the advanced biological wastewater treatment plant in Istanbul Ağva and the MBR system was applied. GENMBR®555 modules were preferred in the renovated plant for capacity increase.
The plant has been leveled at the bottom of the sand trap ponds and is ready for the placement of modules. Then GENMBR® modules were placed. Thus, the treatment plant increased to an average of 4000 m3/day and a maximum capacity of 8000 m3/day.
The wastewater treatment plant consists of physical pretreatment and membrane bioreactor process. Physical pre-treatment consists of coarse-fine screen and drum screen. In addition, the plant provides nitrogen and phosphorus removal. In this way, the effluent parameters fully comply with the irrigation water criteria.
